The Sea Zoo and Foel childrens farm are 2 miles from the cottage. The Menai Straits and beautifull beaches are a short drive. And the cottage overlooks paddocks and open country, with views to Snowdonia. There’s golf in 3 miles, historic Plas Newydd 5 minutes drive, also Butterfly Palace, surf kiting and surf sailing at Rhosneigr. Several safe and serviced blue flag beaches all around the island, nearest is Newborough.

In our village you have a post office, shop, pub, and an indian takeaway and an excellent local farm shop, that is also a café. A good selection of restaraunts and pubs are 4 miles.
